Every year, a sea of green, white, and red blankets Madison Ave as over 160,000 people line the streets of NYC in celebration. The annual Persian Parade brings together people of backgrounds to honor one of the world’s richest histories, cultures, and traditions.
The 2015 Parade was no exception. On a beautiful April day, the colorful floats full of dancers and supporters dressed in beautiful traditional Persian clothing made this year's parade a sight to remember.
Thank You For Making the 12th Annual Persian Parade A Success
The Persian Parade Foundation thanks all who attended for making this a majestic event. A special thanks goes out to all the dignitaries, dancers, and float participants and managers, particularly the Columbia Marching Band and West Point Persian Club.
The Persian Parade Foundation's Board of Directors would like to express their sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of the NYPD, the NYC Parks & Sanitation Department for facilitating a flawless journey down Madison Avenue. Finally, thanks to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio for their words of support and encouragement in issuing a proclamation honoring the Parade.
